Adandiman registered career victory number three at Ararat on Saturday April 2. Coming off a short freshen up, Adandiman proved too classy for his rivals over 1300m in a heat of the Country Trainers Series, which sees him qualify for the $150,000 final on Good Friday at Sale.

Adandiman showcased his natural gate speed and lead all the way to a comfortable victory by just under a length. Freedman felt this series would be a lucrative target for the 4yo gelding, who has been very consistent racing in stronger grade this calendar year. ‘ The draw and his gate speed allowed him to get into a dominating role which he seems to enjoy. Despite the fact he was annoyed by a horse that made a mid-race move he was strong at the finish and fought off the challenges.’

Following his freshen up in the paddock, Adandiman spent two weeks with Lucy Boyd in pre-training, who has done a great job with the horse, returning him in terrific order to the stable. Adandiman was partnered by Tahlia Hope who has a great association with the horse, with this being her second victory on him.

Adandiman now has the option to race in the final of the Country Trainers Series over 1500m on Good Friday, April 15. We wish Darren Dance and his Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock team all the best and hope “Dandy” can deliver once again!
