Just A Theory continued her rich vein of form following a freshen up and is now two starts for two wins at Hamilton.

The 4yo mare by Into Mischief has started to ‘learn what her job is’ showing great maturity in her racing which is bringing successful results. She has been a consistent mare, placing in seven of her ten career starts and it was a great thrill to see her salute in the Hirst family colours.

With a small field and a difficult barrier to contend with, in-form jockey Jarrod Fry quickly assessed his options and opted to take up the running. Just A Theory had an easy time of it in front and quickened down the hill, at which point Fry felt she would be awfully hard to beat. The pair have a good association, with Fry riding both of her career victories.

Freedman was pleased to progress through Benchmark 58 grade and feels his mare may be one to follow through the grades. “It’s been pleasing to watch on as she has been learning her craft, she has raced super consistent and looks like a crack a metropolitan class is within her grasp”

The stable is up and firing to start 2023, with three winners from the previous ten starters. “We have been working hard at home, a lot of horses at the jump outs and un-raced horses ready to go to the races, so we are really looking forward to the Autumn ahead.” There is no better time to get involved with our in-form team, keep an eye out on our website and social media for yearlings that are available this sales season.
