Kaliuwaa Falls was all business on April 1, breaking his maiden at start number four over 1400m at Geelong. The impressive son of Sacred Falls has shown plenty of ability at home with Freedman describing him as perhaps “the most talented 3yo” and it was fantastic to see Kaliuwaa Falls live up to his potential, blowing away his rivals.

Kaliuwaa Falls possess great natural ability but has taken some time to put it all together mentally and in a training masterstroke, the addition of blinkers had Kaliuwaa Falls primed to break his maiden today. Kaliuwaa Falls breaks a string of placings for the Freedman team, with seven of the previous ten runners finishing in the minors.

Kaliuwaa Falls is owned by Wayne Hucker & Rachel Forrest who are great supporters of the stable. Mitch and the team were thrilled to see the talented galloper break through today and strongly believe this win will be the “confidence booster” he needs to go on with the job.
