Progressive mare Birthday Suit was too slick for her opponents on Sunday at Terang, when winning by two and a quarter lengths.
Birthday Suit is a very consistent horse, who has picked up a cheque in eleven of her twelve starts and always puts in one hundred percent. The daughter of Better Than Ready took some time to break her maiden, which resulted in her having a low rating and being eligible for 0-58 racing and she proved on Sunday that she is superior to the class.

Freedman’s promising three-year-old colt was an impressive winner at Geelong on Sunday January 29, off the back of a dazzling performance at Sandown on January 11 when breaking his maiden under Jarrod Fry.
Stringing together his second victory in a row, the son of Churchill looks primed and ready for an Autumn assault. He’s returned a stronger, more furnished product after two unlucky runs in his two-year old season, as a three-year-old Attrition burned clear of his rivals with dominance.

Just A Theory has been a very consistent mare, with four placings from her seven career starts, including two close seconds to begin her preparation. After an unlucky run last time at Ballarat, Freedman elected to give the mare a freshen up within the stable, filling her condition and utilising the great facilities at Ballarat to ensure Just A Theory was feeling fresh and full of confidence leading into today. Post-race Freedman said “Having her carry some more condition and giving her a couple of quiet jump outs between runs really helped her go about it the right way and put that race away nicely.”
