After being incredibly unlucky not to win on debut, Jennyanydots went one better, with a dominant display on Moe Cup day, running away to a comfortable victory.
Whilst the weather conditions were average, Jennyanydots provided great excitement for her ownership group who have been incredibly patient with the 4yo mare. From a positive draw, Jennyanydots ended up leading the race as there was no speed, quick action from Jye McNeil ensured that she was able to be in a comfortable rhythm and build through her gears from the 600m. Approaching the turn, Jennyanydots had Tara’s Reward for company and the two began to clear out from the field, with Jennyanydots asserting her dominance, sustaining a strong gallop in the testing conditions to score by just under 2lengths, eased down on the line.
Jennyanydots was bred by Mr Chris Kopelke, who has been a long time supporter of the stable and the Moe win was a thrilling result for Mr Kopelke and his partners. Although she has taken a long time to get to the races, the mare looks to have a good level of ability and looks like she can take her ownership group for a great ride.
