Arc De Puissance flashed home at Seymour on Tuesday May 27, storming over the top of his rivals to win by the narrowest of margins.

The lightly raced 5year-old has been a slow process and required lots of patience, but this preparation has returned a more furnished horse and looks to be in for a great preparation. Arc De Puissance caught the eye first up at Bendigo when he was slow away, but ran some of the fastest sectionals of the day. Staying at the 1000m again and freshness in his legs, it was a rinse and repeat, with the flashy gelding being able to tack onto the field and finish over the top of them.

Post race Freedman said “He is a horse who has taken plenty of time, from a family that keeps getting better with age and I think he is in for a really good preparation. We’ve played the patient game with him and we should reap the benefits of this over the winter months. He is a horse who excels on softer ground, so with that in mind we hope to see him rise through the grades.”

Congratulations to the connections, a testament to their patience and with only eleven starts under his belt, Arc De Puissance is going to keep improving with his experience.
