The progressive mare, Jennyanydots was a dominant winner on December 18 at Caulfield Heath, her second victory from only four starts.
After being a little slow into stride, Jennyanydots was able to muster speed quickly and hold a position just off the speed. She looked to be travelling a little keenly in the middle stages, but coming into the straight had plenty to offer, dashing through the field to a comfortable 0.75length win.
Taking the patient approach with the lightly raced 4yo is proving to be successful, as she continues to build on her impressive record. It’s been well documented that she taken a while to get to the races, but now she is fit and firing, she continues to repay the faith with more than $50,000 in the bank.
Jennyanydots is Freedman’s first winner at the Caulfield Heath track and a fantastic result for the team. Freedman said “the team have been working very hard behind the scenes and it is very pleasing to get the result here today. The horses have been running well, albeit without winning and it was great to see Jennyanydots buck that trend and get the job done today.”
The metropolitan win is a great early Christmas present for her connections, and we are looking forward to following her rise through the grades. With no runners between now and Christmas, we hope all supporters and followers of Mitch Freedman Racing have an enjoyable and safe festive season.
