Fine Weather kicked off his preperation in fantastic style, winning over 1200m at Swan Hill on Tuesday February 15.
The 4yo son of Night Of Thunder has continually improved this preperation and his class prevailed in Benchmark 58 grade, making a long sustained run from last to an easy 1.75 length victory. Freedman was pleased with the return of the promising galloper and firmly believes he will continue to improve as he gets over more ground. Fine Weather showed his staying prowess last preperation, breaking his maiden over 2000m and running a gallant second over 2100m.
Fine Weather was partnered by Jordan Childs, who had a day out at Swan Hill, with Fine Weather being one of his four winners throughout the day. Freedman will target a mile second up with Fine Weather. Fine Weather boasts a record of eight starts for two wins and three seconds, surpassing $80,000 in prize money.
