Jennyanydots added another mid-week metropolitan win to her impressive record on Wednesday August 27, not going around a runner on her way to her third career victory.

From nine starts, Jennyanydots has only missed the placings on one occasion, at her previous start when she was drawn awkwardly and forced to go back in a race that was run very slowly. To the team’s credit, they were able to keep her going well at home, giving her a nice sharp trial in between runs and she was able to bounce back in scintillating fashion.

An expert ride from Ethan Brown from barrier 1 saw the lightly raced mare shooting clear back to the fence after rounding the corner and continued her strong work to the line, even when challenged late. Brown commented “she will take great confidence from that win, she improved sharply into my hands and I kept her up to the job late, but she won with plenty in hand.”

Freedman said post-race “She is building a very nice record and it’s a credit to the team at home that we are fortunate enough to be in this position. To have three wins, including two mid-week metropolitan wins from only nine starts is a fantastic achievement.”

Jennyanydots has surpassed the $100,000 in prize money for her loyal ownership group and has given them a great thrill in her career to date. Her rating will rise into the low 70’s and there is plenty of scope to keep improving through the early Spring.

Congratulations to the connections of Jennyanydots, two metropolitan wins in twelve months is no easy feat and we hope to add another in the near future!
