Tizso Fab was an eye-catching winner at Kerang on Saturday December 30, running away to an eased down 2length victory.
Tizso Fab has been a horse who has had little favours so far in his racing career, from poor barriers, to bad luck in running, nothing has quiet worked out for Tizso Fab. The son of Astern is best described as “a handful” at home, yet the patience of the ownership group and Freedman’s ability to tailor a suitable program to keep his behaviour under control day to day has proved to be a winning recipe.
Freedman’s stable rider PC Scales has worked closely with Wicked since arriving at the stable and the two have become best mates, which has also been instrumental in keeping Tizso Fab progressing in the right direction. We asked PC for his thoughts his good mate ‘Wicked’ and why he seems to get along so well with him in the stable. “I have a great bond with Wicked, riding him every day on the track and no matter what, he’d have a new trick each time you ride him. As his work started to increase, he would enjoy himself more and more, I was so pleased to see him win.”
They say patience is a virtue in racing and his ownership group have showed great patience throughout the journey with Tizso Fab and now full of confidence with a win on the board, he looks well posed to go on with it. Given a 58 rating, we think he will be one to follow throughout the month of January and hopefully can find himself in the winners stall again very quickly!
