Seattle Hope made it two wins in a row at Kyneton on Saturday, February 1, providing her large group of owners on course with a great thrill.

The 4-year-old mare has been a model of consistency throughout her short career. After breaking her maiden following four consecutive seconds, she secured back-to-back victories with a dazzling display. Jake Duffy, who partnered with the mare in her maiden win at Kerang, delivered what was no doubt ‘ride of the day,’ launching from the outside gate to land outside the leader and sealing the race with a decisive move from the 600m mark, breaking the spirit of her opponents.

Freedman was very pleased with the mare’s efforts “She just continues to improve, and it’s really pleasing to see her get some well-deserved results on the track. She started the campaign finishing down the field at Tatura and Benalla, but improved with the addition of blinkers and race experience. It’s very rewarding to see a horse like her win two in a row, and she still looks to have some upside to come.”

Seattle Hope is a stable favourite and adored by her ownership group, many of whom travel far and wide to see her race at every career start. The consistent mare has now earned more than $60,000 and she always gives her very best.
Congratulations to all involved!
